It also includes all necessary equipment to build implant-retained removable prostheses, temporary prostheses, etc. The laboratory is run by first class dental technicians. Enlarge picture   Panoramic X Ray Equipments The panoramic x ray equipment allows to take radiographies of the upper and lower jawbone in order to make a proper diagnosis of the patient and a periodic monitoring of his dental healthcare. The device is useful in post-surgical follow-up after dental implants have been placed (particularly in the lower jawbone), and in pre-surgical evaluation to determine, for instance, the bone thickness of the jawbone and the localization of the lower dental nerve. Digital x-ray equipment allows to conduct endodontic (root canal) procedures more quickly and effectively than with conventional radiographic methods. Post and core impressions are also made at this office. The office also comprises an ultrasonic scaler to conduct effective dental cleanings procedures, electroscalpel and cauterizer to prepare gum tissue for post and core impressions, as well as halogen light to conduct dental whitening procedures and to place composites for the reconstruction of teeth after cavity cleaning. Enlarge picture   Pink office (operating room) with Digital X Ray and UV Etherization Equipments Pink office (operating room) with digital x-ray and UV etherization equipment: In this operating room, specialists place dental implants for dental esthetics, conduct bone filling and bone graft procedures, perform surgical extraction of retained molars, apicectomies, etc. The office has UV air sterilization equipment and a SCI CAm sterilizer (which keeps the instrument box hermetically closed and sterilized until dental surgery takes place). It also has digital x-ray equipment to determine bone thickness at the planned implant site and to check its further placement. This office is as well equipped with electroscalpel and cauterizer (stops bleeding in case of urgency) and a Finnish dental armchair (which was awarded the first price for best design of dental armchairs). It also has electroscalpel and cauterizer to prepare gum tissue and to make impressions during the preparation of porcelain crowns on metal, hiding the latter when crowns are placed. It also has a parallelometer, an instrument for cutting dental implants in parallel, (a necessary condition for a successful placement of porcelain crowns and for excellent dental esthetics). The office is also equipped with state of the art halogen light and ultrasonic scaler.
